MISSION DECLARATION

    E.C.H.O. is a non-profit, volunteer group devoted to the study of paranormal activities. Our goal is to gather, collate, and educate from data gathered through Field Investigations, historical documentation and professional, field-tested experience. We use reliable, scientific protocols and hope to contribute to a better understanding about ghosts, spirits, haunts, and other paranormal phenomena. 
     Our staff is composed of dedicated paranormal investigators who can assist people (clients) attempting to cope with personal and private paranormal phenomena. We confidentially investigate the situation by all means possible or suggest contacts who may be better suited to their needs.  We also devote our activities to the respectful considerations of spirit, whatever its form, through information and understanding.  We strive to find a viable and mutual solution to anomalous, paranormal problems between person and spirit. 
     We are also an educational organization, and we actively seek out haunted places and property sites to investigate and to scientifically document so we can share our knowledge and results with others.
     We perform investigations via the use of scientific recording equipment. We do not use Ouija Boards or perform seances. We are open-minded to all methods and beliefs, but prefer a controlled and stable environment in which to evaluate a paranormal phenomenon as this best reflects the daily conditions experienced by the persons seeking our help.
     Team members collate documentation of our experiences and paranormal events via the use of camera and video photography, electromagnetic readings, tape recordings, and temperature fluctuations when compiling our reports. In conjunction with scientific instruments, investigators also use natural, clairsentient abilities to study the nature of paraphysical reactions humans experience while being exposed to supernatural phenomena. With such methods, we are further able to learn, educate, and disseminate information about paranormal subjects into the mainstream of scientific communities.

CONFIDENTIALITY AND LIABILITY

    For those requiring confidentiality or liability documents when seeking help through an E.C.H.O. investigation, we make both standard forms available for review. The release or non-release of any or all documentation, photos, media information, etc. rests in the hands of the private or commercial property owner. Liability forms are for the protection of both property owners and team members.
    Since we are an educational group, we would like to use some of the information on our Web site, particularly photos which demonstrate interesting paranormal phenomena. A, E.C.H.O. confidentiality form is constructed with a graduating scale of client choices in order to best suit everyone.
