JANUARY 2007
Again, it's been a while since
I've taken the time from my busy schedule to update what ECHO has
been up to. The time has flown. Since June, we have gotten many new
members. Others have moved on. There have been a lot of positive
changes to our organization.
We have expanded our scientific
research to include 3D digital photography and total Infrared
digital camera conversion photography. This has opened up exciting
new areas of orb research and will, hopefully, allow us better
methods of catching all types of paranormal anomalies if they exist.
Three dimensional digital
photography allows for the capture of two photographs of the same
area instantaneously, varying only in their slight difference of
angle perspective. When two photos of this type are compared side by
side via computer-friendly software and 3D imaging glasses, the
human eye translates them into one photo with three dimensions. The
ability to photograph an anomaly on two separate cameras calibrated
to flash at the exact same time also tests the theory that all orbs
are dust. A true anomaly should be visible in both simultaneous
photos and have a three dimensional form and substance.
An internal IR filter conversion
to a high-end retail, digital camera also provides an advanced level
of anomaly comparison. The camera we are using has been
professionally converted and re-calibrated to operate only in the
high IR spectrum. This is a range far above the low spectrum IR
capabilities found in retail digital cameras most of us use in basic
paranormal research. This converted IR range is also impossible to
see with the human eye. The concept is digitally equivalent to the
older and more conventional IR film photography.
We believe total IR photography
will inhibit most "dust" or "pollen" theories as a blanket criticism
for certain anomalies. We want to see what a total IR camera
produces over time. Hopefully, it will increase our abilities to
photograph phenomena seldom seen such as apparitions - if they emit
electromagnetic radiation in this spectrum.
Places of interest that we have
investigated in the last months are: Springer's Point, Ocracoke,
Valley Forge, Pennsylvania, Waverly Hills Sanatorium, Kentucky, and
Eastern State Penitentiary, Pennsylvania.

Auto IR mode photo on a
converted SLR digital camera. Notice orb to the left of me as I
dowsed with a possible male teen killed in an auto accident. The
information given to us during the dowsing (spirit name and
circumstances of the traffic fatality) was confirmed as true by
local authorities. |
