WELCOME! You have reached East Coast Hauntings Organization (ECHO) located near Martinsburg, WV. ECHO is a volunteer, non-profit research group founded by a psychologist and staffed with professional investigators. We conduct scientific studies of paranormal phenomena. We have researched paranormal activity since 2001 and normally travel the East Coast region for investigations in the following states: North Carolina, West Virginia, Virginia, Maryland, Washington, D.C. and Pennsylvania. Donations for travel expenses such as gasoline when doing out-of-state private residential research requiring more than two hours of driving time is always appreciated. Investigation inquiries are considered on a case by case priority status, and we will travel anywhere in the U.S. as needed. When not doing client-based investigations, we are always researching other haunted sites and historic places. Aside from doing scientific investigations, we are modifying standard electronic equipment to document paranormal data more effectively and to answer questions about the true nature of energy-generating orbs and ectoplasms. Our technical and experimental research in this area revolves around digital infrared SLR photography and 3-D photography.
Another of our
projects is compiling field research data for a survival of
consciousness after death studies which examine biochemical,
psychological, and quantum physics research to help determine
how and why apparitions may come into existence.
We are proud to announce the book by Kalyomi. This is a pictorial collection of real ghost photos! The left-hand photo taken at a local cemetery is that of what is believed to be a shadow ghost. It was shot by Christine Rodriguez of East Coast Hauntings Organization. click for details
